Hey Guys! I'm too tired right now to write a long blog post, so I'll make it short. Anyway, yesterday, I got a book from my cousin called The Hunger Games. It was awesome. I started reading a little before noon yesterday, and finished at about 1:30 this afternoon. It's fairly mature, (so don't go letting your little siblings read it) but I kind of like that about it. It manages to address (for lack of a synonym) mature topics, while remaining appropriate and generally tame. So if you're into post-apocalyptic government takeover conspiracy theories and heroic teenagers in bad circumstances, you might like this book. Or, if you like well-written literature. Either way really.

All i heard about the book was that they put children in a colloseum till they kill the other kids there. XD
ReplyDeleteIt has a little more depth than that, but the children killing each other against their will is a big part of the story.

ReplyDeleteI love this book. The second one is still pretty good, in my opinion, though other people didn't seem to like it as much.

ReplyDelete@Cami: Yeah, it's really good. I wish I could give my opinion on the second, but I haven't read it yet. I'm going to get it today (at the big bookstore in the mall sort of by you and Gertrude's neighborhood.).
Yeah, those are awesome books. The first one was the best, the second one was almost as good as the best, and the third one sucked.
